Hotel Ambrosia - Ypres

The hotel provided us with great laundry service.

Finding the hotel was a nightmare. Driving in Ypres was frustrating due to the confusing one-way system and my malfunctioning Sat-Nav. The small attic room offered little comfort, as the air conditioning was limited. The toilet was awkwardly angled.

The property was lovely little and good value with FRIENDLY EFFICIENT staff who engaged guests in an exemplary manner. Eggs and bacon were available. The breakfast was savoury and very very good, the check in was easy.

Brekkie was awesome, but the room felt a tad cramped for comfort. A neat spot to stay in Ypres.

Totally satisfied

We enjoyed cycling around and visiting local shops. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh eggs and bacon right from the kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's super close to everything you need in town, made exploring easy.

One small downside was that there isn't much parking available directly near the hotel, but we found free parking just a short walk away.

The Quadruple Room was cozy and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a functional bathroom. Breakfast was a highlight, with freshly cooked eggs and bacon. The husband and wife team, Vincent and Iwona, created a cute environment.

The double room was cosy and perfect for what we needed. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. The owners made sure it felt homey, nice after a long day of exploring. Plus, the small en-suite shower was functional. Really enjoyed it, especially the little touches.

Wi-Fi was great, and I appreciated the laundry service for my kids' clothes. Limited parking nearby.

I had such a great time , as it was just a few steps to the In Flanders Fields Museum and the iconic Menin Gate, both essential sights for any visitor to Ypres. The breakfast was freshly cooked, made mornings so enjoyable.

This venue is conveniently located near the main square and Menin Gate, making it easy to visit the tourist attractions and explore the city center.

The rooms here are spacious, and the breakfast is excellent, with a perfect location for visiting Menin Gate.
